The International Student Energy Summit (SES) is the largest global event for future leaders in energy and sustainability sectors. SES educates and trains hundreds of students from around the world to develop core competencies in collaboration, project management, critical thinking, and more.

Since 2009 SES, has been hosted around the world from Canada to Norway, bringing students together to educate and connect with institutions ready to support students on their sustainable energy careers. The Summit has launched young innovators into some of the world’s most pressing challenges, like energy policy, energy access, and financing the low-carbon transition.

The 2019 Summit will gather 650 students from 100 countries in London from July 17th to 20th, making it the most geographically diverse and impactful edition of the Summit to date.

The Committee is now looking for a number of volunteers to join the team for the duration of the summit to assist the events team with various activities.


The successful candidates will be assigned to the following roles based on their availability and preference:

  • Delegate Travel Assistance Team

  • Delegate Registration Team

  • Venue Set-up Team

  • Event Hosts

  • Help Desk Personnel

There will be training provided in the first two weeks of July to support the volunteers experience.
